Mario Rinaldi was born in Paris and raised from 2 to 17 years of age in the Champagne region. He returned to Paris in his late teens to complete studies in Social Sciences and promptly started his professional life. In 1977, Mario Rinaldi decided to leave France and came to the United States in a quest for new experiences and adventure. Mario Rinaldi briefly attended Middlebury College in Vermont State on the student exchange program. Later, Mario Rinaldi transferred to Hunter College in New York City where he studied American Literature and Political Science besides living a very interesting Frenchman lifestyle and traveling extensively throughout the country.
Mario Rinaldi’s introduction to the food and wine industry was when he returned to France in 1982 to fulfill a career by working for a well known gastronomic guide “Champerard”. He pursued his activities in that field to take on a position as commercial director for a mail order catalogue “Le Jeune Cadre d’Entreprise’, specializing in regional French wines.
Upon Mario Rinaldi’s return to the United States in 1992 he worked as a representative for a Champagne House named Charles de Cazanove for 2 years.
Later his family called upon his services for a unique opportunity to represent and introduce exclusively the Champagne Paul Goerg for the U.S. market which led Mario Rinaldi to become the brand ambassador in the United States until the present time.
